Well, she finally has the hang of this! Our baby goes to bed and sleeps like a champ..all by herself. This time she asked to go to Monkey Joe's! She was a lil scared at first, but slides are her favorite thing in the world! This was her very first trip. We had a blast, and then took her to McD's for some dinner. She's growing so fast!

My Big Girl Reward!

We started doing charts for Pyper .."Big Girl Charts" ! Every nigh that she sleeps in her bed without getting up, she gets a sticker! She filled up her very first big girl chart, and reaped the reward! jeremy and I picked her up from school and took her to the waterpark! She was so surprised...this was her first trip to the waterpark. We had so much fun! She was so sad when we had to leave because hey were closing:(. She even went down several slides by herself!

Girls Trip 2011

So...I have 2 super fab bff's that I am proud to have had since we were in school. I have fab new bff's, also..don't get me wrong....but these girls have been a huge part of my life...for most of my life! So, we finally decided to all get together for a trip....as we have 6 girls all together- and only girls! So- we all headed to Gulf Shores for a mini vaca! All 9 of us(minus Jillian:()....and ...the rental agency gave us the wrong condo! But, we made the best of it....with 1 bathroom! We definately implemented an open door policy! No private showers there...we had to leave the potty available, lol! The girls had a great time....and we caught up on old gossip, and some new gossip! And lots of junk food! I hope our girls continue to bond in the future...just like Nichole, Christina, and I have for so many years! I love you girls!

Our baby girl turned 3 today. This is the cupcakes that she took to school. It seems like all the good pics are on my phone lately...I never actually get my camera out anymore! One day I will download them and blog some throwback pics! Her teacher sent me the cutest pics of her class singing to her! She's having a bit of a hard time leaving some of her friends behind, as they only move up 1 at a time. But, soon enough, they will all be together again!

My baby girl moved up to the 3 year old class at Learning Depot! Just before this post would have been where I blogged pics of her fabulous birthday party! I have to get a disc of pics from Mae Mae..as I didn't take any that day! But, she is 3...sadface. This is her first day in Ms. Jennifer's class. She wore the same outfit on her first day of Ms. Sophie's class.....she just keeps getting taller! She is over 3 feet tall, and just hit 30 pounds!

Jeremy and I had a fun filled weekend at the IP casino....thanks to Mai and Hoai! They got us 2 rooms. Sweet Pyper got me a cake and flowers, and Jeremy got me flowers as well! We enjoyed Fr. iday night by ourselves...and ate crab legs...again...thank you Hoai! Then we rode the trolly around for a while and did a lil gambling. We actually won a lil money! On Saturday night we had dinner with Beth, Aimee, Stephen, and Westbrook. Then we went out at the Chill and Terri and Eric met us there! They spent the night and we had a great time! Thx friends!

We celebrated Easter with my side of the family at Uncle Dusty's house. We had an egg hunt and a wonderful lunch! Mawmaw and Pawpaw got the girls matching Easter baaskets filled with goodies!

We hunted eggs at Tammy and Bob's with all of Pyper's cousins (on the Terry side) on Sunday. Boy....was she on a mission with those eggs! lol. She really enjoyed it. This was a great age for egg hunting! We hunted eggs with the Collins side at Uncle Dusty's house the next weekend with Aaliyah! More pics to follow!!

Easter Bunny!!

The Easter Bunny came and Pyper was sooo excited about all of her goodies. She was supposed to leave her binkies for the Easter Bunny ....but she decided she wasn't quite ready. She said she would give them up on her birthday...for the baby birds. So....we shall see! But, on a better note, she is sleeping in her own bed without me on her floor anymore! That was HARD to accomplish and we are very proud of her....so I guess her bink is ok for now. Her dentist says that there is no sign that she has ever had one! She just chews them anyway...lol.

We enjoyed our church service this year with Granna and Poppop and many of our friends!!

Crescent City Classic 2011

We spent our anniversary weekend in New Orleans walking the CCC in honor of Uncle Doug! Doug is Amanda's uncle...and he usually runs this race every year. He was unable to run this year...so we did it for him! We really enjoyed it! Good times with good friends for a good cause. We spent the afternoon with Doug and Peggy at a friend's house for cocktails! Ps- Congrats to Eddie for finishing in 53 minutes!!!! It took us an hour and 25 minutes!!!!

We went to the beach for sand n sun with some of Pyper's bff's! She really enjoyed kite flying with Aiden and Jaycee! She's pretty good at it! We tried to keep them out of the water...but Pyper dove in head first!! She's such a lil dare devil!

Memphis 2011

So, Terri and I went to Memphis for a work sponsored weekend of fun in March! We packed all summer clothes.....and when we landed the pilot informed us that it was 53 and raining. Boo. We spent 2 days looking for warm clothes in downtown Memphis...lol! We went to dinner with friends on Saturday night and to a Grizzlies game in the Fedex forum...in a suite on Sunday night! We had a blast...even though we froze!!!! The Spurs stayed at our hotel so we did get to meet some of them in the elevators and at breakfast...pretty neat:)

Ok..so, I haven't had time to blog since January! We have had such a busy schedule!!! This is Pyper...passed out...in our kitchen floor. I was off from work this day and she wanted pizza for lunch. As i was warming it in the microwave....I turned around to see what she wanted to drink...and this is what I saw! Too funny! We always say...."Never wake a sleeping monster"....so we left her there until Poppop came over and rescued her. He moved her to the couch...hehehe.

We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Collins family on Wednesday...and the Brooks family joined us! PawPaw was offshore...and we missed him greatly. We went downtown to hang out at Serendipitee for Trick or Treat Down the Street! Granna and PopPop came! Pyp had a great time! She was very tired...and didn't wanna get much candy! She enjoyed eating crackers and cheese at the shop much more! She also liked the dancers ....they did 'Thriller" as usual. I thought she might be scared, but she wasn't! We went home early this year...her Daddy wasn't feeling very well, and she was "tywed"

We went to Pyper's very first party at school! Jeremy and I were both able to go. They got to wear their costumes! They played different games in each classroom and got lots of goodies! BLOODWORK;(

Pyper had to have bloodwork done last week. Dr. Fain thought she might have mycoplasma...(walking pneumonia). She has been breaking out in a terrible rash every night..and it's gone by morning. She has had some fever with it...so we went for bloodwork. She never even wimpered! She sat in my lap and put her arm up there..and said "Thank you!" She was such a champ! She ended up just having something viral...and she's all better now! She was so excited that they gave her a purple band-aid! Ps- Thanks Jenny... for the stickers!

It's hard to believe...but Gracie Beth is 7! She had the cutest lil Halloween party! Apparently....my child is a camera hog..or maybe I'm obsessed with her...lol. She was just sooo cute this day...thanks to Mimi and Aunt B for making her lil shirt! Gracie is in that little pic in the middle. Yep. That's her. Fair 2010

We decided to take the girls to the fair this year! Mom, Dad, Me, Jeremy, Pyp, Dusty and Aaliyah went. Our first stop was to see a monkey...we took pics with him! I will have to scan them and add them later. Aaliyah loved the monkey..she laughed at it! Pyper....not so much. As much as she loves her "monk monks"....she only likes the stuffed ones! We have the pics framed at home...each time she walks by...she says "Mommy- I not like that Monkey!" She loved the "fun slide" and made Daddy and Pawpaw take her down several times! Aaliyah wasn't crazy about the carousel...and Pyp loved it! She told her Daddy she wanted a teddy bear. Everyone knows how hard it is to win those fair games! I was so scared we wouldn"t get her one! He walked up to the first game....basketball. Pyper was chanting..."TEDDY BEAR!!!" And he won it on the first throw! She was so excited! She got to pick any bear....and she picked her Daddy's favorite one! She did a lil fishing with PawPaw..and she and Aaliyah picked up the lil ducks for prizes. We had a great family fun day!

So...Pyper has an obsession with monkeys...in general. This one, in particular, is named Monk Monk. She takes him to school every day for her nap. We left him at Granna's the other day...and he rode to Ingalls with Granna. So...when she was leaving for school....we told her Monk Monk was with Granna ..and he had to go to the doctor. She took a spare...and was very worried about Monk Monk. Granna picked her up and this is what Monk Monk looked like. He fell off the couch...and broke his head. So....she had no melt down that morning...and she doesn't jump on the couch anymore because she doesn't want to end up with a broken head. You know...."The doctor said...no more monkeys jumping on the bed (or the couch)!"

Our family reunion was alot of fum this year! We didn't take alot of pictures....wish I would have gotten the camera out more! We took an RV that we rented. Pyer loved traveling in the "BIG BUS!" We had a carnival with clowns, and a huge slide/spacewalk for the babies! She enjoyed it very much! The clowns did pacepainting, and made balloon animals! It's hard to believe that our baby girl is already 2! Where does the time go?

We had a great Independance Day this year! We started out at Eddie and Amanda's and the babies played in the pools, and we bbq'd! Then we went to Uncle Rob's for some fun in the sun! Pyper had a great time swimming with her PopPop! She got to play with all of her cousins...Conner, Maya and Ethan! Then we went back to Eddie and Amanda's for fireworks! Pyper got to hold her own sparklers and roman candles, so she enjoyed it! She and Jaycee must have colored the entire driveway with sidewalk chalk! Ps- Thanks for the matching swim suits JJ!

A day at Maw Maw and PawPaw's

Mom and Dad got a new pool...upon our request! We thought it would be nice to have a pool at their house for the babies to swim in for the summer....and they installed the YMCA. This thing is huge! I had no idea they even made above ground pools this size! It's 24 ft. across and
like 80 feet around! It's almost 5 feet deep....can't wait to actually swim! Pyper has been in and she loves it....but I have been so sick lately, we haven't been able to enjoy it. I am feeling much better and plan to swim on Sunday!

This is Pyper's first day of daycare/school. At first, she cried a little in the mornings, but she loves it! The first week, they had miniature horse rides, the tumble buggy, and water day! She gets to take her own lunch on fridays, and she just loves school! They have lots of fun activities, and she has met many new friends!

We went to the doctor to have Pyp's progress checked on her eyes. He says she has improved on her focus 100%! And her vision is 20/20! She will continue to wear glasses until about 9, but ...no surgery and no bifocals! Yay!

We had Nichole a surprise 30th birthday party at El Saltillo! Alot of family was able to make it and we had a great time! We went by Erin's crawfish boil and then to the Stage Coach to watch Dave and Back alley play! We had a great time! Happy birthday Cole!

We took all the babies to the Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus! They loved it! Pyper's favorite part was the Ele-punts! She screamed every time they came out! They all enjoyed themselves. And we did too! Thanks to Aunt B and Mimi for making the girls their fabulous circus shirts!

Jeremy and I went out for a lil shopping and pyper was so good, we decided to take her for icecream! We took her to Bop's and she loved it! (We enjoyed our concretes, also....yummy)

Aaliyah!

Dusty, Brandi, and Aaliyah came to visit the other night and play! We had alot of fun...she is crawling now and can play with Pyper! Pyp is a little jealous of her...she wants to be a baby again, lol. MawMaw was feeding Aaliyah baby food...and Pyp had to have every other bite! They played on the swingset, and pyp played in the dirt. She loves the dirt...I think she gets it from her Daddy! The top pic is Aaliyah's "cuteface". What a ham! I just love her!

Well.....here we go..the 30's are rollin in! Westbrook turned 30 last week and they rented a party bus to celebrate! We had a great time! We met at Caesar's and then to the Dock for dinner! We went to Guitars and Cadillacs to ride the bull! Then we went back to Caesar's for karaoke! I love time with my besties! Thanks for a great time.....and....CONGRATS ON THE BIG 3-0!!! We are soon to follow!

4th Anniversary!

Jeremy and I went to Orange Beach for our anniversary last week. We stayed for 2 nights in the beachhouse...thanks Chad! We had a fabulous time! We spent alot of time on the deck..having fruity drinks! We went to dinner and to Adventure Island on friday night. We grilled and cooked there for the rest of our meals. We always have a great time on our lil trips. A couple got married on the beach right down from us! Too sweet! Looking forward to many, many more anniversaries!

PawPaw Goes To Africca!

We took PawPaw to the airport to leave for work. He will be in Africa for 40 days:( (He is actually riding the rig back to Mobile) We were very sad that he was leaving, but Pyper had alot of fun playing at the airport. She still thinks he's on an airplane. She says..."PawPaw on airplane?" And we say no...he's in the big water. And she says "OH!" She misses her PawPaw lots! And so do we! Hurry Home!!!!!

PawPaw's Swingset!

Pyper asked PawPaw for a swingset at their house, so he built her one...the next morning! I would have to say ...She is a lil spoiled. She loves her new swing and slide....and she does not wanna get off of it! That's why she is in her house shoes...playing at night! She has a sand box and a playhouse at their house, too! She loves to play outside with her PawPaw and Maw Maw...and her favorite thing to do is ride PawPaw's tractor!

Easter 2010

We had a very eventful Easter this year! We read to Pyper the story of Easter and why we celebrate it from her children's Bible before we went to bed on Saturday night, and told her that the Easter Bunny would bring her a gift to celebrate this wonderful day in the morning! We awoke early to a fabulous basket filled with goodies, and then off to Church we went! We went to Granna and PopPop's to see what the Easter bunny left for her there, and he was still there! (photograph above)! We went to Tammy and Bob's to have lunch and hunt Easter eggs with Ethan! We had a great time! Pyper and Ethan wanted the eggs hidden over and over! We went to MawMaw and PawPaw's for dinner and hunted eggs again with Aaliyah! We missed PawPaw...he was at work...but overall, we had a great day!

Pyper went to the shop to have lunch with her Pop Pop for his birthday! She tried to carry his present in, but it was too heavy, so she demanded to carry the cake! She ran in and said "PopPop - cake!" And she learned to say Happy Birthday! So, he was the very first one to get a Happy Bday from Pyper!

New Ride!

This is Pyper's new barbie Jeep ! She loves to ride Fisher and Jaycee! If you say..."Pyper, Do you have a Barbie car?" She will say "No! Jeep!" She rides in it every day and has even figured out how to shift the gears! She loves it! Thank you Gracie!

Zoey is 14!

Well, I couldn't leave out my first child! Zoey turned 14 on March 11. Can u believe it? She's still so energetic! She is showing some signs of aging, but to be 14, she sure is doing well! (aside from her recent loss of hearing) ....but , she seems to be getting used to it. Happy Birthday Zo Zo! aka "Bubba".....as Pyper has deemed her.

Memphis Top Rx 2010

Erin and I spent a weekend in Memphis with the girls from Top Rx! We go once a year and we really look forward to it! We had a great time! We went to a Grizzlies game ....had a suite at the Fed Ex Forum...with a yummy dinner and dessert...and drinks! We went out later to Beale Street. We enjoyed singing karaoke...Mike and I belted out some Ice Ice Baby, Heather did All That Jazz, and Mike did a fab job on the song from O Brother Where Art Thou (Constant Sorrow)....then we shopped all day Saturday and ended with a yummy dinner. We wanted to sleep in on Sunday, but our Limo driver called at 9 am to take us to the airport...someone gave him wrong info! Our flight didnt leave until 2:30! But, we had a great time, as usual! Thanks, Heather and Top Rx!
And to our lil cab driver who let us pretend we were in the Cash Cab Saturday night, lol!

Ivey's Bday

We went to dinner for Ivey's 30th bday on Saturday. We ate at Aunt Jenny's and then went to Bar of Denile. We sang Karaoke. ....for a long time...lol. Jeremy even sang with me! Had a great time with great friends! Thanks Ivey!

Glasses

Well, our lil Pyper got glasses! She strains her lil optical nerves to focus, so we are giving this a try to correct it. She does very well in them, and I must say she's super cute! We chose purple!

Aaliyah's pink Cast!

My niece fractured her ankle in her "jumper"! She is the cutest lil thing ever in her lil pink cast....Pyper was calling her Bobo! We went over for dinner...too much fun! She should get her cast off soon! It doesn't even bother her!
