Our First Trip to the Camp

We took our first overnight trip to the camp on June 24, 2009 with The Carroll's! Pyper and Jaycee loved riding on the boat...they slept almost the whole time we were riding! We arrived on Wednesday morning and settled in. It was very nice to be away from everything...you can only get to the camp by boat. We ventured out to find a sandbar, and an hour later we ended up at Pine Island. We went swimming for a few hours, and then loaded back up...only to find that we were lost! It started to rain..thank goodness the boat had a top! As we were enjoying our ride back, the boat broke! As luck would have it, a friend came up behind us just as the boat died! So, we were towed back to the camp and we enjoyed our evening bbq-ing! Jason F was sweet enough to exchange boats with us so that we could enjoy the rest of our trip:) The girls fell fast asleep while Jenna, Jason, Jeremy, and I visited on the porch until bedtime. We spent the night and were forced to return to civilization on Thursday morning. We had a fab time, and I can't wait to go back for a longer stay! Thanks for inviting us, JJ & Mo!

Daddy's Guitar

This has become a favorite pasttime. Pyper loves for her Daddy to bring his guitar into her room and play for her. She dances and claps, and gets so excited! It seems like it was just a short time ago that Iwas sitting in her nursery (pregnant) working on her baby book while he played the guitar ... My how time flies! Notice that her crib is no longer a crib...we have moved to a toddler bed...she loves to climb in and out by herself:)

Hello Summer!

Well, Pyper and Daddy went over to visit MaeMae and Eddie next door....and this is where they ended up. No bathing suit required. Our baby girl is sure to be a fish in her next life...she loves the water!!! I can't even keep her out of Zoey's water bowl...she thinks it's a place for her to splash her refrigerator letters. Needless to say, they had a good time! Maybe we should leave a bathing suit at Mae Mae's for future visits, lol

Birthday Girl!

Well, Here's the Birthday Girl! I can't believe it's all over :(....She had the best time, and I am so thankful for all of our family and friends....Pyper is very loved! I'm sure I'll post more pics....these are only from 2 cameras, lol. Can't wait to see her sweet face from all the different views! She is certainlty a PRINCESS!

The Setup!

So, this is the setup! Pyper's first birthday celebration was everything I had hoped it would be! These are the pics that we took before anyone arrived. Everything was beautiful...thank you so much to Jenna, Beth, and Gramma and Grampa for helping out with the decorations, and to MawMaw & PawPaw for keeping the Birthday Girl so that it was all a surprise! Her eyes were huge when she arrived!

Aaliyah Dianne Collins

So, this is my adorable niece! Aaliyah Dianne Collins arrived on June 2, 2009 weighing 7 lbs. 15 oz. and she was 20.5 inches long! She is absolutely gourgeous! I am so proud to be an Aunt! Pyper was so sweet to her...she loved on her...and would just lay her head beside hers...toooo sweet!!!!

Pyper Turns One!

Well, our baby girl turned one yesterday, and her Daddy is twenty-nine today! It was a bitter-sweet day at the Terry Household ...we are glad to see her growing and healthy, but it's also so sad that our baby is now a toddler...ages are measured in years instead of months....and she is getting more independant every day! I attempted to make a fish-shaped cake since she shares a birthday so close to her Daddy and her Gramma....I needed something unisex. Well, Let's just say that I'll leave the cake up to the professionals for her actual party! But, we had a nice little family night with her grandparents at home. I can't wait until the big event on Saturday! So...for another happy note...My brother and his wife, Brandi, had their first child on Tuesday...her name is Aaliyah Dianne Collins and she weighed in at 7lbs 15oz, 20.5 inches! I am so proud to be an aunt and I will post pics as soon as I get some on my camera...I took all the pics on my phone...what was I thinking? So, here are some pics of our little girl on her "actual first birthday"...I'll post party pics after Saturday!
